Get beyond the fences. You and your horse will love the freedom of the trail.
Trailriding is a wonderful way for people of all ages to spend time with nature. It allows the people to enjoy a lovely country view of flora and fauna while spending quality time with the equine friend. It can be done with any type of saddle, on any type of horse and just about any terrain.
Some folks ride on the trails for the sheer pleasure of getting away from the riding ring, while others spend countless hours using the great outdoors as their training ring.
There is nothing more rewarding than being able to meet another trail user without incident. Horses, bicycles, hikers and motorized users can all coexist on the same trail system it just requires work on each trail user’s part to allow this to happen.
“I gently encouraged a canter, but asked her to slow up almost immediately. For one thing, I was new at this, but really, I was missing the fantastic view.”
