Powder snow, well groomed trails, great scenery, a snow machine and a buddy are all you need for a wonderful winter activity.
There are over 360,000 registered snowmobiles in Ontario with over forty-nine thousand kilometres of trails for use, weaving all over the province. In fact, it’s the longest network of recreational trails in the world! Simcoe County is a vital part of Central Ontario’s snowmobile hub, with a tremendous number of high-quality, well-maintained trails for cruising, exploring, or just enjoying the ride.
The Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs' website www.ofsc.on.ca is an excellent resource for Trail Conditions, Trails Maps (by district), Programs, Snowmobile Driver Training, links, etc. Trail Conditions are updated on the OFSC website on Monday & Thursday by each of the provincial Districts. Local Trail Guides are available through the individual Districts and the OFSC office in Barrie (705 739 7669).
Obtain your OFSC snowmobile trail guide and trail permit from your local Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Club ! Buy where you ride!
