Loop Trails

Loop trails are trails that start and end at the same place. There are loop trails in County forests, in conservation areas, in municipal parks, or in an urban setting. Loop trails are usually shorter, and ideally suited to encourage physically activity, whether in summer, fall, winter or spring. Some are accessible to strollers and people with disabilities.

Brentwood Forest The Brentwood Loop Trail has been discontinued. You can however follow the Ganaraska hiking trail (white blazes) through the Brentwood Forest. This section of the Ganaraska hiking trail makes a loop from Sunnidale 6-7 Sideroad, and returns back to Sunnidale 6-7 Sideroad. The north-east corner of this forest can however be very wet. Also, expect and respect other users, such as snowmobiles, motorcycles and ATV's who have designated routes in this forest tract.
