Imagine a path through the middle of a beautiful
nowhere. Now…add a party.
Sometimes the simplest celebrations are
the most fun, such as a trail party with good friends.
Hiking through the backwoods can appeal to kids of all ages
(even the grown-up ones). All you need is
a little ambition, a few game ideas and a menu of hearty
outdoor fare – think trail mix, granola bars or apples with
caramel. In addition to tasty food, there
are a bunch of things that are fun out on the trail.
Scavenger hunts. Ghost stories. Songs. Games of Tag
and Red Rover. Skipping stones on the lake. Bug-collecting.
And a very popular activity lately is
Geocaching. Kids love looking for the hidden treasures. There
is an endless number of cools things to do when you get out
there.

Kyle had marshmallow stuck to his face after lunch and didn’t notice all day. Nobody said a word – just giggles. When he finally discovered the big sticky patch on his cheek, he stuck a leaf on it.”
