Trails inspire movement, whether by foot, wheel or animal. They keep us moving, in pursuit of exploring our great outdoors. They re-energize us and bring us close to nature, our inner self, and planet earth. You will find them in municipal parks, conservation areas, provincial parks, on abandoned raillines, through subdivisions, etc. While we have not inventoried all trails, we give you a selection to choose from.
Trails are created to accommodate users of different interest groups. Some were only designed for a single use, such as walking or hiking. We call these single use trails. Other have been designed to accommodate various users. We call those multi-use or shared use. It is important to understand what activities are permitted on which trails, and not to tresspass on trails that were not designed or intended to be used for certain activities.
